Tap Photograph a new item and then Take the first photo. Fill the frame with the object. If a label, serial number or spine has the detail that identifies it, take that too: Photograph the same item adds another angle to the same record.
After the photo, Review & add shows the details samla.ai suggests. Check the name, category and anything you already know. Then tap Add to collection. Identification can continue in the background while you photograph the next item.
Use Note for the AI when the camera cannot see a fact you know, such as an edition or a hidden mark. Keep the note short. For a full walkthrough, see Get a better identification.
