How Value tracker works

Value tracker follows an item's estimated value after you add it. It is a running check against the market, not a one-off number on the day you scanned.

Open an item and find its Value tracker card. Track this item starts tracking. Once it is on, the card can show Tracking weekly and when the last check ran.

You can also tap Check now when you want a check now, rather than waiting for the next scheduled one.

On version 1.3.27 or later, Check now also works without turning on tracking. It saves one market reading, without scheduling weekly checks or using a tracking slot. Your plan and AI consent still apply. A new check waits until 24 hours after the last market reading, including the reading saved when the item was created. Check your installed app version if the behaviour differs.

The estimate can be From the photos, from Recent sales, from Asking prices, or Set by hand if you edit it. A history graph shows how the figure has moved since you added the item. Comparables from the last check are listed with the basis used.

If you recorded what you paid, Value tracker can show whether the current estimate is up, down or even against that amount.

You can edit the amount, currency, basis and a note about its source. Save your changes. Editing a value does not turn tracking on.

Open Tracked items in Workbench. Use the switch beside an item to pause or resume tracking. Open the item to see its history and check the market. If you reach a tracking limit, check your plan before adding another item.
